JTDK produces high quality clothing for men, women and children. Products ranges from ready-to-wear to couture and bridal creations. The house also manufactures accessories including bags, footwear and eyewear.
These productions are done under the creative direction of Justice Okwudike, founder of the brand.
ABOUT THE FOUNDER
Justice Okwudike was born and raised in the ever busy commercial nerve of Nigeria – Lagos State, which he now loves to compare with New York City, in terms of the “tempo”. As a child, he spent lots of time drawing fashion sketches and was inspired by the costumes worn by comic characters. Family and neighbors were often impressed by his sketches and would ask to take them to their tailors to actualize. In 2012, he launched his first fashion label – a ready-to-wear men’s clothing line.
After two collections, he took time off to focus on Media & Publications, establishing several fashion and lifestyle magazines which featured both prominent and up-and-coming Nigerian celebrities from various sectors in the creative, entertainment and political industry. In 2020, he returned with a brand new vision for fashion designing, creating the new line JTDK, clothing both men and women, and with an intention of soon expanding into home and lifestyle goods. As a creative designer and director, he has also designed sketches for few local clothing brands in various states in Nigeria.
Particularly, career professionals who attend social events in the big cities are his inspiration when designing. Each piece of every collection is made from high quality fabrics constructed by the best craftsmanship.
For the Interior decor arm of the JTDK brand, Justice works closely with selected craftsmen to create functional, stylish and innovative pieces which are sometimes an interpretation of the existing aesthetic of the JTDK fashion line.
Justice is based in Lagos State where he currently grows the JTDK brand.
